There were plenty research which indicated that the artificial harbors would affect the ecological environment. The Department of Aquaculture, National Penghu University had done the survey focused on species in intertidal zones of Penghu. In the previous research, we focused on the undeveloped coasts. However, there was not much survey made in developed coasts. For this reason, we had investigated biology alone the coastal area in Magong City. We took down 5 orders, 19 families, 26 genus, and 31 species of fishes, in which there were 5 orders, 16 families, 21 genuses, and 25 species found in Suo-Gang. There were 3 orders, 12 families, 17 genus, and 19 species taken down alone natural coastal area, and there were 4 orders, 10 families, 11 genuses, and 13 species alone artificial coastal area. There were 3 orders, 14 families, 16 genus, and 19 species found in Wu-Kan, in which there were 3 orders, 13 families, 15 genus, and 18 species taken down alone natural coastal area, and there were 2 orders, 3 families, 4 genus, and 4 species alone artificial coastal area. In Si-Wei, we found 2 orders, 6 families, 8 genus, and 8 species, and there were 2 orders, 3 families, 4 genus, and 4 species found in natural coastal area and 2 orders, 4 families, 4 genus, and 4 species in artificial coastal area.
There were 34 families, 116 species in mollusk. 40 species were found in Suo-Gang natural coast and 17 species were in artificial coast. 29 species were found in natural coast and 8 species in artificial coast in Wu-Kan. Finally, there were 30 species in natural coast and 19 species in artificial coast in Si-Wei.
The investigation of algae revealed 4 phylum, 31 families, and 63 species, one of them, Parvocaulis parvula, was a new species in Penghu. There were obvious differences among natural and artificial coast. Also, the results varied within different sampling zones. The amount of species found in the intertidal zones of Wu-Kan were the most, and it was about 4 phylum, 28 families, and 49 species. In Suo-Gang, there were 3 phylum, 20 families, and 33 species. There were less in Si-Wei, which was about 2 phylum, 4 families, and 6 species. As the results, the amount of species found in three sampling areas varied. The fact that the species found in natural coastal line were more than ones in artificial coastal line indicated that artificial zed environment had the effects on biology. |
