This project aims at developing a method to measure fish length by digital image technique so that the efficiency could be upgrade in bioinformation collection. A simple type of image capturing system would be initiated in this year. The sysetm will also be tested on board after the interface is improved. The process of installion and image captuing will be set up, so can be used as standard procedure in future. After this project is finished, the scintifical method of fish length measurment could be offered and the regulations required by international organization on the Public Ocean could be fullfilled. |
