Additional alarm function will be added into the present VDR to remind fisherman that his boat is heading on the boundary line of other country, so that one can therefore avoid non-premeditated intrusion. If this project is accomplished fisherman can get alarm signal while his boat is near the border line of Japan, Philippine and etc. which not only benifits to fisherman also promotes the entire image of Taiwan government. Especially, when two country are arguing whether a fishing boat had crossed the border line or not, the voyage records and alarm records are very helpful during the negotiation and naturally, it also protects the right and interests of fisherman. |
