This research presents an integrated design and fabrication of high illumination light emitting diode (LED) fishing lamp that consists of optical pattern design and heat spreader technology. The high illumination LED fishing lamp can replace traditional fishing lamp and reduce the injury to the fisherman. In this paper, the optical lens module offers optimum optical pattern in effective work area (8m*10m) which average illumination 800Lux from LED fishing lamp. Besides, the heat spreader technology can provide a high efficiency work temperature. Therefore, the heat spreader technology and the optical lens module are integrated into fishing lamp to enhance illumination. Experimental results show the power consumption of LED fishing lamp is less than traditional fishing lamp about 50%, and the average a catch of fish per voyage is close to 2500Kg for 24 shipments, which demonstrates high potential of LED fishing lamp substitutes for traditional fishing lamp. |
