Traceability products mean that customers can trace the information from production to marketing. Unfortunately, we can only find the production information in traceability system. Therefore, middleman plays an important role in providing the marketing information for traceability system. In this research, wholesale fish market is the middleman that we talk about. There are three main research targets in this research.
1.Focus 1: the study of information content for the traceability products in wholesale fish markets.
For this research focus, we suggest that the information of three items: (1) the name of wholesale fish markets. (2) the temperature of the fishery products in wholesale fish markets. (3) the truck information should be included in the information flow.
2.Focus 2: the study of competitive advantage of traceability products in wholesale fish markets.
For this research focus, we use questionnaire to collect the key success factors (KSF) for selling traceability fish in wholesale fish markets. After our survey, 13(14 and 17) KSF are determined in the customer (restaurant and wholesale fish markets) questionnaire.
3.Focus 3: the study of fish sources of wholesale fish markets.
For this research focus, we collect 5 months data from 12 wholesale fish market. Then, excel is used to determine who are the key suppliers (customers) of wholesale fish markets in Taiwan or (2) in northern, middle and southern of Taiwan.
From this research, the wholesale fish markets can increase competitive advantage from the study of three focus mentioned above. |
