Statistics is the essential of fishery management and fishery research especially in the need for long term series data. To solve the problems of data dispersed, it is important to establish a centralized offshore and costal fisheries statistics system and construct the data management system to support relevant fishery researches. Through these processes, the research group could be built under the basis of professional performances of different sections. To accomplish the goals of this project, the work items will include developing data entering interface, constructing data examining procedures and building databases. Using the interface and checking the data in these procedures will reduce the data errors significantly. And the centralized database management system can prevent from the data dispersing. |
