In Taiwan, fishery resources are exhausted day by day, causes the population of the fishing village to outflow and age, and then a lot of questions emerge. For example, traditional fishing village what course should follow? Does fishery have value of management? How is the developing direction of fishery's industry? In the face of changes and challenge of such environment, try hard to make the transition all without exception in most of fishing villages in Taiwan, and then to pursue renewal. Because of this, this research plans to discuss two aspects: “fishing village development” and “leisure fishery transition” to probe into every problem described above.

In the fishing village development, the main working projects of this research are as follows: (1) Sketch the contours of the vision of fishing village development in Taiwan; (2) Look for the key success factors about community's total building for the fishing village in Taiwan. In leisure fishery, the main working projects of this research are as follows: (1) Find out the key success factors of traditional fishery transition into leisure fishery; (2) Why do scale and effect of leisure fishery lag behind leisure agriculture.?

In order to finish above stated work, this research adopts the methodology of case study to proceed, and then by quantitative analysis of field study and deep interview to explore the mentioned problems above. The results as follows: (1)?Construct one participation decision model of fishing-village development, assist fishing village to develop; (2) Construct the business model of transition success for leisure fishery, Offer the reference that traditional fishery makes the transition. |
