The purpose of this investigation is to evaluate the feasibility of various ballast water managem ent and treatment methods used in fishing boats and propose the most applicable ballast water tr eatment methed for fishing boats. Firstly, the IMO guidelines about reballasting at sea are stu died.Based on the biological effectiveness、envi ronmental acceptability the mechanical treatment methods , the physical treatment methods and the chemical treatment methods for removing organis ms from ballast water are analyzed. Secondly, the various combinations of the above ballast water treatment methods are also evaluated. Finally, the present study propose the circu lative special pipe method is the best solution to the discharge of ballast water for fishing boats . |
