The major task of this project is to construct knowledge management system of the Virtual Fisheries Institute (VFI) and build web-forums for different research fields. This system will be the platform for researchers to exchange their experiences of studies. To encourage researchers using the knowledge management system, the members to VFI will include the research assistants to enlarge the discussion issues and form different research groups in different fields of fisheries. It also can provide a mechanism for researchers to establish cooperation relationship on their studies. The attendances of each researcher will be the evaluation criteria of their projects. And their discussions will be compiled into knowledge bank of each group. The staff of FA also can use this platform to announce the information on the entrusted projects. Members to VFI will receive the information immediately and can response their opinions through the web. The relevant two ways support system also could be built if needed. |
