Collected the specific coral reef ornamental fish which has potential to captive breed and commercial production. Study of the various feed with specific kind of marine fish, minimum size of matured individual after sub-adult, sexual character, reproductive biology of the specific coral reef fish, and feasibility study of captive breeding in the circulative cultutre system, respectively. Study of the various cultured condition, substrate for egg laying and various sex ratio factor affect the reproductive biology of specific coral reef fish under laboratory conditions, focusing on reproductive frequency, breeding capacity, the ratio of insemination, embryo and juvenile development, and survivability, respectively. Preliminary results confirmed the world's marine ornamental fish trade and local market preferences and to record four kinds of small coral reef ornamental fish of broodstock cultivation, courtship and breeding behavior. In addition to the successful breeding the specific species in the circulatory system and recorded one kinds of cardinal fish (banggai cardinalfish, Pterapogon kauderni), two kinds Gobiidae (genus Eviota) and 1 species of dottyback (Pseudochromis porphyreus, Pseudochromidae) of the minimum size of reproductive, sexuality differences, and access to relevant types of optimal feeding management, light-cycle control and sex ratio, respectively. |
