Kyoto Protocol has officially come into effect. United Nations request all nations signing the Protocol and encourage others to submit national greenhouse inventories to UN IPCC.
In this project, localized emission indices and emission factors of powered fishing boats are established, using the operation activities of both fishing boats and their diesel engines. Models of estimating annual amount of greenhouse emitted from powered fishing boats are also established. Statistical results of greenhouse emitted are also calculated.
In the year of 2005, 3933 Tg of CO2, 18.5Tg of CO, and 57.2 Tg of NOx are emitted from powered fishing boats. In the year of 2004, 3685 Tg of CO2, 17.7Tg of CO, and 55.8 Tg of NOx are emitted from powered fishing boats. |
