The purpose of this survey is to investigate the species and counts of the hazardous molds as well as sorts and contents of the mycotoxins produced by the certain molds in aquacultural feeds. The results showed that the feed samples were counted of 92% containig aspergillus spp., 64% penicillium spp. and 16.7% fusarium spp. although no significant amount of ochratoxin and afaltoxins were detectable. The survey did not discover regulations about mold count and mycotoxin level in feeds for aquaculture except that fumonisins was no greater than 10 ppm in the feeds for catfish in USA. |
