The mankind is in the process of pursuing "environment right" in, the fishing boat uses the exhaust gas emissions of diesel engine, having already been subjected to widespread concern. In order to make the diesel exhaust gas emissions of native fishing boat match environmental protection laws in the world, this project draws up to make use of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) principle, developing a set of new exhaust gas to reduce device, reducing fishing boat diesel the NO emissions of the engine by period, reaching to match a lately international convention to prevent the provision of air pollution from to the ships.
This research designs the device of exhaust gas recirculation applying on displacement 11.15 liters diesel engines. The construction of system includes EGR cooler, EGR valve, EGR filter and intake manifold. The system takes the EGR proportion 25% as the design datum, and then deciding the design parameter of components. By the simulation, we get exhaust gas backflow is 21.86% when the opening proportion of the valve s is 405mm2. Therefore the valve section size must control about 405mm2, ensuring the cooler could reach cooling temperature which we require.
Buy the required parts of EGR system by device parameter and fabricate EGR sub-system on the HYUNDAI D6AZ diesel engine which is load 16% by die casting machines and furnace.
The experimental result shows that NO emission is dropped to 149ppm from 245ppm when the engine has load. The decrement result is about 40%. Comparing with the no load one, NO decrement more. And engine air inlet temperature both increase by exhaust gas.
Assess through the whole price of EGR system finally, regard relevant parameter of HYUNDAI D6AZ diesel oil engine as the datum of designing. So we get the heat transfer area 0.044 m2 each horsepower, and then estimate how much erecting EGR system need to spend. It is supported that the manufacturer intended to produce in the future as reference. |
