“A Study of the Impact Resulting from the Entry into Force of the ILO Work in Fishing Convention upon Taiwan’s Management on Fishing Vessels and Crew Members as well as the Measures Taken by Taiwan in Response to Such Impact” is a research project commissioned by the Fisheries Agency of the Council of Agriculture and undertaken by The Center for Marine Policy Studies of the National Sun Yat-sen University. The contract of this project commenced on 31 December 2007 and lasts for six (6) months.
This final report presents a copy of draft Chinese translation of the International Labour Convention “Work in Fishing Convention, 2007” , the differences between the rules of such Convention and those of the previous Conventions from which it integrates and revises, a gap analysis between the conventional rules and rules of domestic laws and regulations, suggestion for revision or adjustment of municipal rules, as well as conclusion and policy recommendations. |
