This study aimed to compare the difference between chlorophyll a data from satellite and shipboard surrounding Taiwan. The chl a data from satellite presented positive relationship with shipboard chl a. The data of satellite water color could be applied in chl a after calibrating. The highest primary production occurred at autumn; in the order were spring, summer and winter. The highest chl a occurred at spring; in the order were winter, autumn and summer. The nitrate concentration was negative relationship with chl a. |
