Yuanshanzih Flood Channel had been discharged flood over 20 million tones while typhoon Sinlaku invaded Taiwan during Sep. 2008. It was the highest amount of floor after Yuanshanzih Flood Channel was finished. Collecting the data after typhoon within three years, the suspended solid, turbidity, chl a, temperature, salinity, COD, silicate and phosphate were significant difference (pThree study stations are used to monitoring the growth of coral reef influcend by sediment. Wouyenshen is also chosen as the control station in Homay.Yuanshanzih Flood Channel had been reduced flood many times in July and September this year because of four typhoons landing on Northern Taiwan. The comparison between the monitoring photos of the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2007 shows obvious of sediment in the opening of Yuanshanzih Flood Channel but not western of eastern sides of the channel. The variation of fish fauna of three monitoring stations is not significant different from control station at Wouyenshen in Homei. |
