The target of this research is to build a intelligent VDR, which not only can judge the main engine of fishing boat is in operation or not, but also record the fishing boats movement when it enters probihited area. To accomplish this work, techmeter, software development and integration with the existence VDR will be carried out. The main is issues are: 1. Introduing a techmeter and digitizing the outcome of techmeter into the VDR. 2. a integrataing program for techamter and VDR will be developed to judge the operation state of main engine. 3. The boundary data of restriction area establish and testing. 4. By combining GPS data and boundary data the auto recording function will be achieved. 5. The integration and test of hardware and sofeware: After the system is built the VDR will play a more useful role in fishing manegement. |
