This proposal is submitted to enhance the management of fishery information web site of fishery agency and increase the diversity of fishery digital contents for information services. Both tasks aim at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of web site management and providing diversified fishery related knowledge for web users. The tasks of this project include the following items:
(1) Design a new format of fishery information website which will focus on the declaration of government policies and promote the using ability for professional and general public users.
(2) Design the web version for the monthly magazines of international fishery information for web users, which provides international events or policies of fishery related issues.
(3) Collect and develop a web-based query database containing general fishery species, which includes high resolution photos and detail description.
(4) Construct the digital fishery contents from e-classroom of fishery lectures, and build multimedia contents for fishery culture promotion.
(5) Develop a new model of learning mechanism based on embedding fishery information in a flash memory disk for cellular phones, which contains friendly learning programs for educating fishery related knowledge.
(6) Combine available fishery statistical databases to integrate all quantity and price information of consumptive and procreative fishery products, which will provide important inforamtion for future policy descision making and for value added services for culturists. |
