The project aims at the construction of an automatic control system for controlling sails directions on fishing vessels. The use of wind force can reduce the fuel consumption, and it can enhance the efficacy of environment protection. The safety of fishing vessels equipped with the sail system is considered, including rolling and stability. The keys points of the system are friendly-usable, user acceptable and low cost. The applicability of the system will be assessed carefully. The main features are as follows: 1. Decrease the fuel consumption by at least 10%; 2. Decrease the maintenance fee; 3. Decrease the waste gas by at least 10%; 4. Decrease the running cost by least 15%. |
