The main object of the project is to build an integrated data center (IDC). We design the reengineering of the information system in the fishermen's association with the data integration by Internet. The data will be integrated in our proposed system. The proposed system are also designed as a safe system with the backup functionality to guarantee the data security. The project content of this year can be partitioned as three parts. The first part is to propose the IDC. We integrate the demands of the fishermen's association to design the IDC configuration. Let IDC to have the functionality of the data collection and remote backup. The second part is to design a new integration system for the shared utilities of the fishermen's association. We analyze the requirements for the improvement of the share utilities. The database and related system will be integrated in our system. The IDC also be integrated in the new system. The third part is to design a pre-warning mechanism. We exploit the functionality of data-reuse to design the threshold of the pre-warning mechanism. The work demand and math model are the major factors to configure the threshold of the pre-warning mechanism.
The tasks of this year of the project are the system evaluation, system analysis, and the previous works of the IDC. The main works of this project contains to collect the affairs needed from fishermen's associations, related parts of city governments, and fisheries agency by questionnaires. We also proposed a few conferences and training courses to reinforce the concept of information security and enhance the performance of the information systems. We reengineer the information system and system flows to improve the work performance. The interfaces and related work flows of the proposed system are designed as similar as the working system.
The expected benefit is to improve the system utilization and work performance by the proposed system. The data backup in the fishermen's associations can be done automatically. The data lost prevention and security guarantee are designed in the IDC. The data analysis and statistics of the IDC can be on-line performed. The data consistence between the IDC and the fishermen’s associations will be easily done. We can also design the pre-warning systems from the data of the IDC. This pre-warning system can assist to propose the strategies to improve the performance of the management of the fishermen’s associations. |
