Seafood is one of the options to provide the main source of protein in humans today. Quality, health and safety of fishery products, as well as the source to buy seafood, whether it can buy worthy of trust certification brand, has become of the topics that consumers are most concerned. While observed people’s consumption habits about seafood, marine pond culture seafood are more favorable impression than freshwater ones. The reasons in addition to the meat of marine pond culture seafood is usually more flexible than freshwater ones, and same in tasty. Based on this, this study objectives on establishing an certification standards about marine pond culture labeling system, which can accept by most of the industry and consumers. The result shows that shrimp, grouper, and milkfish are suggested as a priority species; in certification system, the seafood certification system attached on TAP certification might be the most suitable way to meet FAO Technical Guidelines on Aquaculture Certification; in terms of marketing promotion can be combined with traceability to the positive promotion marketing TAP products. Only help the aquaculture industry to promote sustainable aquaculture industry and spread to the marketing channel, the whole industry to implement food safety and traceability system, and promote product upgrading and international marketing, Taiwan's aquaculture industry to continue to maintain the lead, and continue to enhance their competitiveness and expand the scope of sustainable development of fisheries. |
