一、The purpose of this study is analyze for the industry value chain of Set-net fishery, including production, fish-processing, retail and services, and other support activities at different stages. Secondly, the calculation Set-net fishery contribution of fisheries and related industries to the GDP, the present study by the industry association angle to Leontief input-output (Input-Output) model to calculate 2009-2013 Set-net fishery in primary value-added products and related sectors created. The key findings and implications are as follows: 1. Value created by set-net fishery and its related sector is 2.93% of total fisheries’ GDP in 2013. 2. The GDP created by the set-net fishery and related industries is from NT$ 9.47 billion to NT$ 10.8 billions during 2009-2013. 3. The delivery service sector contributes the biggest part in the GDP. The primary sector and fishing input follows, which rank in the second and third, respectively. 4. Compeitition ability of set-net fishery is strong, but the element of human resource management is weak. There are several development strategies including improvement of humance resource management, establishment of information platform, shortening of the production and marketing via difference industries alliance. |
