The stability has a great effect on the security for ships. All the new ships have been tested. Stability must be up to the standard. But when the cargo been put on the different location, the stability will change by it. When the cargo has been placed in the wrong way, the center of gravity of the ship will raise up, and the stability also the security of the ship reduce sink down in the meantime.
This project focuses on the relationship between the location of the cargo and the stability of the ship. Development for monitoring stability of fishing boat derived from cargo loading. By the program crewman can get the information about stability of boat which derived from cargo loading, then correct it. It insures the security of the ships.
It is a combination the programs that 3Ds MAX, Visual Basic, EON and”船舶設計計算”. Drawing a virtual shape of ship from the information of real ship by 3Ds MAX. Analyze hydrostatic table and cross curve table from real ship lines by ”船舶設計計算”. Input the virtual shape of ship to the program EON, and show the situation for the ship which has the cargo loading to base on ship data. The program interface is VB. By the different property of cargo, we use VB to calculate the ship property after cargo loading, send virtual message about ship to EON.
The program will warn of the Trim over limit too much and when the stability of the ship is unbalanced. When the way to place cargo will make the ship instability, then the virtual one will upset down. |
