1. Accelerating Agricultural and Fisheries Disaster Recovery: Ministry of Agriculture Revises Natural Disaster Relief Regulations.
Ministry of Agriculture revised and announced the "Natural Disaster Relief Regulations for Agriculture," aimed at closely meeting actual needs,simplifying the onsite assessment process, and extending the application period. This initiative helps farmers and fishermen quickly resume planting and breeding after natural disasters. The revised regulations are retroactive to cover disasters occurring after October 1, 2023, allowing those affected by Typhoon Krathon to immediately benefit from the assistance.
2. Autumn Delights: Fisheries Agency Collaborates with Fishermen’s Associations and PX Mart for “Classic Flavors of Milkfish” Tasting Event
As the milkfish harvest season arrives, the Fisheries Agency is integrating various channels and local cultural activities under the promotion theme “Classic Flavors of Milkfish.” In collaboration with the chain store PX Mart, they are promoting and selling fresh and cooked domestic milkfish products. Additionally, they are working with the Agricultural Cooperative at rest areas along Provincial Highway 61—specifically in Yunlin Kouhu and Hsinchu Hsinfeng—to market fresh and processed milkfish products.
