1. 2024 Kaohsiung International Food Show Grand Opening

The annual food event in southern Taiwan, the "2024 Kaohsiung International Food Show," is taking place from October 24 to 27 at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center South Hall. Over 320 domestic and international exhibitors are participating, marking a 14% increase in scale compared to last year. The event showcases high-quality agricultural, fishery, and livestock products from Taiwan, as well as a diverse range of processed foods, bringing together international companies from 12 countries.
 

2. Jiangjun Aquatic Product Processing and Logistics Center OT Agreement Signed

The Jiangjun Aquatic Product Processing and Logistics Center, Tainan's first facility planned and built by the government, is set to be completed by the end of March 2025. Following its completion, the center will be operated by a private entity through an Operation and Transfer (OT) agreement. The Tainan City Government has announced the results of the bidding process, with "Tainan Fish Marketing Co., Ltd." securing the operating rights.　On October 25, a signing ceremony took place, witnessed by Mayor Huang Wei-che and Deputy Director-General of the Fisheries Agency Chen Chien-yu.
