1. Vice President Praises Excellent Farmers of Hemei Township Farmers' Association 

On the evening of the 15th, Vice President Bi-khim Hsiao, accompanied by the Ministry of Agriculture’s Deputy Minister Huang Chao-chin, attended the "2024 Hemei Township Farmers' Association Agricultural Industry and Cultural Event" in Changhua. In addition to recognizing outstanding farmers from Hemei Township, the Vice President also praised the efforts of the Hemei Township Farmers' Association in promoting local agricultural products. She highlighted the transformation of an old granary into a vibrant space for young farmers, agricultural product promotion, and food education.

2.The Foreign Crew Members' Fellowship Party was held in full swing
 

November is the peak season for deep-sea fishing vessels returning to port. To express gratitude to the foreign crew members who have been working on Taiwan's fishing vessels year-round, the Taiwan Seamen and Fishermen's Service Center hosted a grand fellowship party on November 15^th at the Qianzhen Fishing Port. The event was supported by the Fisheries Agency, the Kaohsiung City Government's Ocean Affairs Bureau, the three major deep-sea fishing associations, and Fengqun Aquatic Products, among others, to celebrate the joy of a bountiful harvest. The event featured exciting activities such as karaoke singing, tasting local delicacies, and a lucky draw with great prizes. Deputy Director Yang Wenxian of the Fisheries Agency also joined the crew in singing the classic Taiwanese song "Happy Departure," using music to break down language barriers.
