1. Taiwan announces “zero hunger” plan: Council of Agriculture (COA) has unveiled a plan to tackle food insecurity as part of an effort to achieve the UN’s goal of ending hunger by 2030.
2. US biggest importer of Taiwan’s agricultural products: The US for the first time became Taiwan’s largest market for exports of agricultural products, with outbound shipments in the first quarter surging 33.3 percent to US$23.2 million from a year earlier.
3. Taiwan Fishery Observers Wanted: Taiwan Fisheries Agency (FA) has announced a plan to recruit 79 fishery observers, including 5 Indonesian and 1 Vietnamese interpreters. The deadline for application is June 30.
