1. The Council of Agriculture (COA) subsidies aim to ease egg shortage: The COA waive a 5 percent business tax for importers of soybeans, wheat and corn to stabilize chicken feed prices; Egg farmers are given NT$3 for every 600g of eggs produced, as well as NT$25 per egg-laying chicken, and farm price of eggs enhances to NT$36.5 per 600g.
