1.Young farmers awarded Council of Agriculture prizes

86 young farmers were on September 16^th awarded prizes under the Council of Agriculture’s “Hundred Young Farmers project”. The prowess of the farmers, aged 37 on average, highlight the project’s success in fostering a younger generation of agriculture professionals.

2. NGO sparks dialogue between migrant fishers, Fisheries Agency

Ship-visiting NGO Stella Maris held outreach events on September 18^that Chi Jin Island, Kaohsiung. The event enables migrant fishers serving on Taiwan's distant water fleets to interact with the Fisheries Agency, which oversees their work, and have constructive dialogue at the grassroots level.
